Previous to setting up Harrisons in 2017, Kate graduated from the University of Hull and subsequently trained as a Primary School teacher, working in a local school across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for 15 years.

Her specialist subjects were PE and French where she spent time abroad teaching English to primary-aged children. Many of the skills acquired in this career transferred across to those needed to set up the business from scratch.

Kate leads the operational side of the business helping to implement new systems and processes and ensuring, the smooth running of the day-to-day delivery of face fit testing, RPE servicing, and our online e-commerce site.

When she's not occupied with work, her 2 football crazy sons and diva Jack Russell dog, keep her on her toes!
